Ralf Terheyden
Supervisory Board Chairman
Ralf Terheyden (*1965), studied business management at the University of Göttingen. He then specialized in the area of corporate finance in his work as an auditor for one of the largest auditing firms worldwide. From 1997 to 1999, he mainly worked on restructuring and consulting in M&A. In 2000, he moved to a medium-sized auditing firm and became head of the corporate financing department. A well-known partnership in London was the next highlight on his C.V.
Since May 2003, Mr. Terheyden has been working as a self-employed as auditor, commercial manager and tax adviser; and since September 2004 as Managing Director of his own company. In March 2007, Mr. Terheyden opened a second office. As Chairman of the Elterninitiative krebskranker Kinder Oldenburg e.V. (Oldenburg parents`initiative for children with cancer), Mr. Terheyden offers his expertise to the charity association on a voluntary basis.
He has been a member of the NanoFocus AG Supervisory Board since 2006 and has been its chairman from 2007 to 2012. From 2012 to 2017, Mr. Terheyden was NanoFocus AG´s Supervisory Board Vice Chairman.
Stephan Gais
Supervisory Board Vice Chairman
Stephan Gais (*1965), studied business administration at Ludwig-Maximilians-University, Munich. After his studies, he worked as assistant to the chairman of the management board at Moll KG and later as a Business Consultant at A.T. Kearney GmbH. From 1992 to 1994 Mr. Stephan Gais had the Position of Managing director at Kieninger Uhrenfabrik GmbH.
1994 Mr. Gais changed to Mahr GmbH in Göttingen, where he took over the Position of the Managing director. As Managing associate of Mahr Holding GmbH, from 1997 to 2000 Mr. Gais was responsible for the sectors of controlling, finances and production. Since 2010, Mr. Gais is chairman of the management board and associate of Mahr GmbH & Co. KG.
Hans Wörmcke
Supervisory Board Member
Hans Wörmcke (*1962) is founding shareholder and chairman of the supervisory board of m-u-t AG. Since his studies of physical engineering and physics, Mr. Wörmcke started his entrepreneurial activity in Kiel and has founded diverse companies since then. Additionally, Mr. Wörmcke ist managing director of EVAC GmbH, which he also co-founded.
Dr. Hans Hermann Schreier
Honorary Chairman of the Supervisory Board
Hans Hermann Schreier (*1946) is the founder and supervisory board chairman of NanoFocus AG. Hans Hermann Schreier has devoted his professional life to technologie-oriented companies. Turning new scientific insights into innovations and economic use is both a pleasure and a challenge to him. As the head of a technology and entrepreneur center he consulted technology-oriented businesses.
Since the foundation in 1994 up to 2009, he was CEO of the of the stock-exchange listed high-tech company NanoFocus AG. Since 01.01.2010 has been responsible for selected strategic projects of Adrem Consulting GmbH as senior advisor; he has also consulted NanoFocus during this time.
After a two year cooling-off-phase, according to ARUG/Corporate Governance, Dr. Hans Hermann Schreier chairs the supervisory board of NanoFocus AG as of 11.07.2012. After his planned leave at the Annual General Meeting 2017, Mr. Schreier was elected Honorary Chairman of the NanoFocus AG´s Supervisory Board.
