Process-oriented surface measurement technology in focus

NanoFocus AG ends Control with a new visitor record at the trade show booth

With an extraordinary positive overall impression, NanoFocus AG, developer and manufacturer of optical 3D surface measurement technology, ends this year´s Control, international trade fair for quality assurance, in Stuttgart, Germany. As in previous years, the company registered a significant increase of visitors at their booth. Especially, prospective customers from the automotive and semiconductor industries took advantage of the NanoFocus specialist counseling at Control. Process-oriented measurement solutions and the application of multisensor technologies for industry-specific measuring tasks were the center of attention. 

Besides many new visitors, numerous registered customers used the opportunity for a live demonstration of the new products and personal exchange about current and future projects. “Since years, more and more trade show visitors are interested in our 3D surface measurement technology. This confirms that our solutions are state-of-the-art for many industries”, says Jürgen Valentin, CTO of NanoFocus AG. “We are also very happy that so many of our customers followed our invitation to inform and exchange about newest developments. Because they can rely on our measurement solutions as well as our service and consulting qualities, our long-term customers trust in our experience when they face new challenges in quality and process control.”

A large number of concrete requests let NanoFocus look upon the current and the coming business years favorably. For the new products that have been developed in close cooperation with key customers, Valentin sees big potential because of their versatile applicability and their design according to industrial standards. The compact sensor for production control based on the µsurf technology, as well as the multisensor system that combines the industry-approved line and area surface analysis technologies were matters of particular interest. Also long-term applied NanoFocus 3D measurement systems and software solutions are, due to a continuous adaption to industrial requirements, still convincing the expert audience.
